2020 has been a WILD year filled with great ministry in the midst of unexpected turns and lots of changes. COVID-19, unrest in race relations, deep division and anger in political issues, the terrible local fires, and the list goes on. Jesus has been large in our church and we have weathered the storms of change together, with his help!
Are you interested in going on a short term mission trip? Well we are planning our next one for March 4-18, 2020. Elevation will be taking an outreach trip to Malawi to help our friends Erlo and Rhudolph in planting a new church.
In January of 2020, Perspectives on the Worldwide Christian Movement will be coming to Santa Cruz! During the 16 weeks we will hear from leaders in the world of missions about past and present movements throughout the world. Learners will be encouraged and challenged to share their faith with those who don’t yet know the saving grace of a relationship with Jesus. If you are looking for a way to mobilize your church in the Great Commission, this is it. God has used Perspective since the 70s as a powerful force to mobilize believers whether across the street or across the world.
The cost is $270 non credit and $540 credit. We encourage churches and mission boards to consider offering partial scholarships to those who may be financially challenged as an investment in furthering the kingdom of God.
Elevation’s second Day in The Park of the year will be after service on Sunday August 11th. We will again be meeting at a picnic table at Cover Bridge park in Felton. Join us for this wonderful time of catching up with friends or getting new know someone new.
Please, bring a lunch or grab something from a near by restaurant and spend time with Elevation’s church folk.
